Ghostlight

Finding “one’s people” helps us find our place in the world. But there can also be much to love and learn from those whose experiences and interests don’t immediately seem to overlap with our own

Ghostlight tells a story of loss and recovery. And while it’s authentic and heartfelt on the surface, it also has deeper layers to uncover.

This is a film about people trying to do the right thing and finding sincere connections with others along the way. Its about the world-changing power of artistic communion, about how creativity, compassion, and forgiveness — of oneself and others — are all part of the same human journey.

This is a beautifully life-affirming fable about the power of art to heal, but really, it’s the people making the art that do the work. “Ghostlight” is a stunning and incredibly moving tribute to that process. Katie Walsh. L A Times
